Meet Our Staff
PJ Schuman, PA-C is a board certified physician associate and brings with him over 30 years of specialized medical experience and expertise. Chiefly, he has performed thousands of procedures and minor surgeries throughout his career in a number of clinical settings.
He is a graduate of Albany Medical College, SUNY, and HVCC. He completed clinical internships at Albany Medical Center, St. Peter’s Hospital, The Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Children’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
He is a formally trained and certified aesthetic injector through the Aesthetic Medical Educators Training program. PJ is also a licensed radiologic technologist, ultrasonographer, vascular technologist and clinical bone densitometrist.
PJ combines the latest techniques, most recent science and art in everything that he does.
Furthermore, outside of Genesis Med Spa, PJ enjoys boating, SCUBA diving, biking, skiing and adventure vacations.
Cristen Litz, M.D. is a board certified general surgeon and is the acting medical director and collaborating physician of Genesis Med Spa.
Dr. Litz graduated from the University of South Florida College of Medicine, where she also completed her general surgery internship and residency. Furthermore, she completed a research fellowship at Johns Hopkins focusing on minimally invasive surgery/procedures and an additional fellowship in bariatric surgery at Advent Health in Tampa Florida.
Dr. Litz is also a certified/trained aesthetic injector receiving her certification through the Aesthetic Medical Educators Training program. Given this experience, Dr. Litz is an invaluable resource to our practice at Genesis Med Spa.
Cristen enjoys running, hiking, travel and SCUBA diving in her free time.
MaryJo Aidala, MA is a cheerful and dedicated medical assistant at Genesis Med Spa. She is also a licensed cosmetologist and has 30+ years of experience. She is an excellent hair stylist at Genesis Hair Studio located one floor below the Med Spa itself. Furthermore, MJ also offers customized wigs for those suffering from hair loss and/or undergoing cancer/chemotherapy treatments. She is very personable, friendly and welcoming. MaryJo has a unique ability to help people relax and feel right at home. She makes fast friends with all of our patients.
MJ enjoys travel, spending time with family & friends, skiing and boating.
Kerry Carhart, MA is an intelligent and reliable medical assistant. She is a former teacher and as such, applies her excellent people and instructional skills to every patient encounter. She is precise and detail driven helping make everything she is involved in more efficient and exacting.
Furthermore, Kerry enjoys gardening, caring for all animals great and small, and is an excellent chef.
Christina M. Coppola, RN is a welcome new addition to our team at Genesis Med Spa. Christina is a graduate of Belanger/Siena College of Nursing. She is extremely enthusiastic and exudes positive energy. Christina is attentive to every detail, and always reliable, personable, and professional. I’m sure you will see this for yourself when you interact with her.
