I’m worried about looking too overdone and unnatural. Should I be?
We understand your concern. We’ve all seen people out there that have had treatments/procedures that just don’t look quite right or ones that are frankly, overdone. At Genesis Med Spa, we’re focused on making changes that are natural appearing. Our patients have told us that people will say, “you look refreshed like you had a great night’s sleep”, or “it looks like you have a lot more energy today”. Hear more in our other FAQs below.
Most people are indeed surprised when they find that they look better but natural all at the same time!
How painful are these treatments?
Much of this is dependent on the skill and protocol set by your aesthetic provider/injector. Our licensed and board certified medical providers/injectors at Genesis Med Spa are formerly trained in facial aesthetics and have years of prior procedural, as well as surgical experience. They employ a range of techniques, medicines and products that all help make our patients as comfortable as possible. Moreover, Most say that they can’t believe how easy their treatment(s) were!
Will I bruise and/or swell a lot? Is there a long down time associated with these services?
It’s less common to bruise or swell after BOTOX or PRP treatments, however, with some treatments (i.e. HA fillers) swelling and/or minor bruising is a given. Although the degree to which one swells/bruises is variable, most bruising is minor and can be concealed by makeup within just hours to a few days after their procedure, depending on the type of procedure done and the particular area(s) treated.
Most people are surprised that they recover quite quickly experiencing minimal discomfort, swelling and/or bruising if at all!
I am concerned about how much this will all cost. How much will I need to spend on these services?
We completely understand that cost is a factor when it comes to these types of procedures. Furthermore, we understand that these are elective (i.e. not medically necessary) and not covered by insurance. That said, we firmly believe that looking your best helps you feel your best. Our providers all began their careers in other areas of the medical field outside of aesthetics/cosmetics. We were born to help people. Therefore, we want to help as many people as we can to look and feel their best, and that means in order to do so we want to control cost as much as we can. We encourage you to do your research when choosing where and whom to do your aesthetic treatment(s). After you do so, we are confident that you will find our pricing to be better than most, and our experience and skill level to be excellent.
How many injections/units will be needed during my procedure?
The exact number of injections/units you will require varies due to a number of reasons. During your consultation, your professionally trained aesthetic injector will determine and discuss the most effective treatment plan for you and answer all of your questions.
